WordPress Kathmandu Is Organizing

Online Meetup on July 25, 2021

Dear WordPress Enthusiasts,

Last month, we had an awesome Meetup on how to start a blog with WordPress. This time, we are going to Conduct WordPress Kathmandu July 2021 online meetup with an open discussion model.

We all know that WordPress 5.8 is currently scheduled for general release on July 20, 2021. The goal is to merge the first version of full site editing (FSE) into WordPress core.

So, on Sunday, 25th July 2021, we will have an open “Discussion on Full Site Editing in WordPress”.

Full site editing refers to a group of new WordPress features currently in development, such as block themes, template editing, and global styles.

We will cover the following things in this meetup:

• Introduction about FSE
• WordPress 5.8 and FSE
• Important things that theme authors should consider in FSE
• Full site editing development progress
• Block attributes
• Full site editing blocks
• Creating a simple FSE theme
• Open discussion on the topic
